Trenitalia the Civitavecchia express returns from tomorrow

(Finance) – It starts again tomorrow Civitavecchia express, the fast connection between the port of Civitavecchia and the center of Rome. A service designed to meet the needs of cruise passengers who want to visit the capital during the day, with holiday-friendly timetables compatible with the arrivals and departures of the ships. Until 1 November 2023 – Trenitalia informs in a note – there will be over a thousand additional seats on the FL5 Rome-Civitavecchia line made available to tourists who want to visit the Eternal City.

The connection will be made with two daily trains: the first departing from Civitavecchia at 09.07, arriving at Roma San Pietro at 10:00 and finishing at Roma Ostiense at 10.10, the second returning in the afternoon with departure at 16.30 from Roma Ostiense, stopping at 16:43 at Roma San Peter and arrival in the port city at 17.20. Both will make the only intermediate stop at Roma San Pietro.

The ticket a single journey costs 10 euros, a return ticket 15 euros. Children from 0 to 4 years of age travel free while children up to 12 years of age do not pay if accompanied by an adult. There are no additional fees for oversized bags. The seat is guaranteed: once the 718 seats available for each connection have been reached, ticket sales will be closed.
