(Finance) – From next February 17, the Rome – San Candido night Intercity is back of Trenitalia, the parent company of the FS Group Passenger Hub,-already active in the section between Rome and Bolzano. The extension will be operational Saturday and Sunday throughout the month of March until Easter.
The link Intercity Night 764 will start on Friday and Saturday from Rome Termini at 10.05pmthen arrive in Bolzano at 6:28. From here it will continue making stops in Bressanone, Fortezza, Brunico and Dobbiaco, concluding the route in San Candido at 8:40. Saturday and Sunday, the Intercity Night 763 it will leave there instead South Tyrolean station at 19:18 to get to Rome Termini scheduled at 6:06.
The link is meant to deliver more choice for mountain loversin winter as in spring, in addition to the connections to Bardonecchia, made from Genoa with the Intercity and from Milan thanks to the direct high-speed connection to Paris.
