(Finance) – Trenitalia (FS Group) And SkyTeaman alliance of airlines, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to offer combined “plane + train” itineraries in a single booking. The partnership will allow those arriving in Italy on a SkyTeam airline flight to reach a wide range of destinations across the country on Trenitalia high-speed trains. For example, travelers will be able to fly from New York-JFK to Rome Fiumicino, collect their luggage, board a Frecciarossa and reach one of the destinations served.
