We got our hands on the back-to-school shoes: inexpensive, comfortable and super trendy, they are from Promod.
Once again, Promod has it all right. The French women’s ready-to-wear brand unveiled its new collection a few weeks ago. Polka dot pants, terrycloth dresses and lace shirts… the pieces follow all the trends of the season. But it’s on the most animal print of all that the brand wanted to focus. In all, 41 leopard-print items fill the shelves of the 410 stores across France. One of them, found in the shoe department, caught our attention a little more than the others. With their square toe, adjustable strap and foam interior, these shoes have everything it takes to become the it-shoes of the new school year. “Trendy and comfortable”, “Stylish and aesthetic” or even “Perfect”, the reviews gleaned from the brand’s website prove that all the ingredients are there. The pair in question, sold at the price of 29.99 euros, is a well-balanced mix between the retro elegance of ballerinas and the audacity of the leopard print.
Of course, these babies aren’t the only leopard-print shoes that Promod is selling on the eve of the new school year. The brand also offers sneakers for €49.99 and ankle boots for €79.99. Our final favorite is the leather clogs. Comfortable and stylish, they cost €49.99.
The feline trend has not escaped the other brands that dress fashionistas. Sézane, H&M, Isabel Marant, Éram, Bocage, Nike and many others have also launched their leopard shoe models. Sneakers, pumps, sandals, flip-flops, slingbacks and even boots, there is something for all tastes and all budgets.
