Treasury, 10 billion new 7-year BTPs issued. Rate 3.548%

Dear petrol MEF there are no conditions for cutting

(Finance) – Il Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) issued 10 billion euros of new ones 7 year BTP at a price of 99.880 corresponding to a gross annual yield at issue of 3.548%. The bond expires on 15 February 2031, with entitlement on 16 January 2024 and an annual rate of 3.50%, paid in two semi-annual coupons.

The MEF made this known by communicating the results of the dual tranche issue via syndicate of a new 7-year BTP and the reopening of the 30-year BTP currently being issued.
Regarding the reopening of 30 year BTP with maturity 1 October 2053 and coupon 4.50%, the amount issued was equal to 5 billion euros. The security was placed at a price of 100.560 corresponding to a gross yield of 4.515%.

The regulation of the aforementioned operations is scheduled for January 16th.

The MEF has entrusted the placement mandate to a pool of banks: Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena, Crédit Agricole, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan.

With a subsequent press release, the MEF reports, the amount and composition of the application will be specified.
