Travis Fimmel’s new series couldn’t be darker

Travis Fimmels new series couldnt be darker
Travis Fimmel is best known for his gritty, at times dark, role as Ragnar in Vikings. But that’s nothing compared to his next planned appearance, if you believe the description. Soon he will play an investigator in the mystery series Black Snow. And walks in the footsteps of the genre role model True Detective. Darker than Vikings: Travis Fimmel solves a brutal murder in Black Snow

That reports Deadline. Black Snow should revolve around the murder of 17-year-old Isabel Baker, who was murdered in the Australian state of Queensland in 1995. The bloody act rocks her community of South Pacific islanders and has far-reaching consequences, but is never solved. 25 years later, new evidence leads Detective James Cormack (Fimmel) to the trail of the perpetrator.

The six-part series is said to be one Mixture of crime thriller and coming-of-age drama act. It is not yet clear whether it will be as bloody as Fimmel’s breakthrough Vikings. However, it can hardly be any darker with the murder of a teenager.

True Detective replacement with Travis Fimmel: When is Black Snow coming?

When and where Fimmel’s crime series will be published is not yet known. It is being produced for Australian streamer Stan. Judging by the current state of production, it will not before 2024 appear.
