(Finance) – Il deputy minister Rixi he met a London The British Secretary of State for Transport, Lord Davies of Gower. The meeting offered the opportunity for a new contact with British Cabinet in view of the next Italian presidency G7. Among the bilateral dossiers, the focus was on collaboration in the smaritime, air and rail sectors with particular attention to the infrastructure investment programs launched by the two governments.
Following this, Deputy Minister Rixi met with a large representation of the business community at the Italian Embassy in London for a round table on connectivity, ports and investments. A meeting in continuity with the missions carried out in Singapore, Japan, India and the USA to strengthen the Italian partnership with the main international players.
“I have found interest and attention in the way in which our government is planning large investments in Italy. The choice to focus on investments rather than bonuses will give an important boost to the modernization of our country. We are at the forefront of implementing large projects and we will make Italy a great Mediterranean hub. The Pnrr will also be a laboratory of technological and engineering innovation in which we hope to also be able to count on British skills”, the comment of the deputy minister Rixi at the conclusion of the meeting.
