There are 228 other poultry farms in the 10 kilometer zone. Due to the contamination and the high poultry density, a transport ban applies in the region. This transport ban, which partly lies in the province of Utrecht, runs from Utrecht to the east and includes Baarn, Amersfoort, Zeist and Wijk bij Duurstede.
