In Pokémon GO, trainers want to participate in showcases, which has been possible for almost a week. But not for everyone.
What is this feature? Introduced to celebrate the 7th anniversary of Pokémon GO, the new PokéStop Showcases feature a new gameplay element.
There you can enter Pokémon at certain PokéStops in the comparison competition. For example, trainers were allowed to submit different Schiggys at the start of the new feature. Whoever had the biggest squirtle ultimately won the showcase. Comparable competitions should also come in the future.
Whoever wins the showcase gets some rewards at the end. You can find an overview of the showcases in Pokémon GO here.
However, there was a problem with the showcases from the start: not all trainers can see them.
The showcases are part of the new season in Pokémon GO:
Where are the Showcases in Pokémon GO?
That’s the problem: While some trainers have already secured their first wins in the Showcases, others are still looking in vain for them on their map.
Right from the start, players reported that they have not found a PokéStop Showcase to date, for example in the TheSilphRoad subreddit for Pokémon GO.
Others at least report getting a pop-up at stops where theoretically there would be a showcase, but then not being able to interact with it any further (via reddit).
So obviously there is a problem here.
What does Niantic say about this? On Twitter, Niantic Support has repeatedly taken care of corresponding inquiries and emphasized that the error is known and is being investigated. There is also a link to an error website, where there should be a corresponding update as soon as the problem is solved.
But currently it says:

Have you already been able to do a showcase? How did it go? Tell us in the comments!
Otherwise, the next event in Pokémon GO is coming up: A hat full of sleep.
