Patrick Loenen was the ideal candidate for Spakenburg last year. His working method, football vision and honors list were a reason for the Blues to appoint him. He won titles and promotions with Argon, Eemdijk and Sportlust’46. But at Spakenburg the results were disappointing. After thirteen matches, the team is tenth in the second division. This did not lead to panic among the policymakers. “Patrick has shown everywhere that he is a good trainer, but needs time. He is a diesel,” says Hugo Bol on behalf of the technical committee of Spakenburg.
