Trainer achieves the “impossible,” developing Pokémon that players have been hunting for months

In Pokémon GO, players have been able to collect cells for the Pokémon Zygarde for months, but it’s proving difficult. A trainer finally has enough for the monster’s final form.

What kind of Pokémon is this? The Pokémon Zygarde appeared in July 2023 with the special research “From A to Zygarde” and is closely linked to the route feature.

Because: You can find so-called Zygarde cells on the routes. You need these in order to be able to transform Zygarde into its stronger forms.

The problem: These cells are very rare and do not always appear on routes. In addition, some trainers also have the problem of simply not having enough routes nearby to consistently collect the cells.

In addition, you need a lot of cells for the shapes. The 50% form needs 50 cells, the strong optimal form even needs 200 cells.

For many trainers, the hunt for the optimal form developed into a kind of never-ending story. But someone has now done it.

Trainer shares his strong Zygarde

In the Pokémon GO subreddit called “TheSilphRoad,” user “TorchicIsland” shared a post showing a Zygarde in its optimal form.

The post “The impossible has been achieved, the first 100% Zygarde” currently has over 1,900 upvotes and more than 300 comments:

It is unclear whether it is really the first in the world, but in the comments trainers are still impressed, but also discuss the difficult shape change itself:

  • “It’s… beautiful,” one commented (via reddit).
  • I would perhaps care more about collecting cells if I hadn’t gotten a weak Zygarde, says one user (via reddit). Because you only get one Zygarde through research, otherwise you can’t get another one – and you can have bad luck with the values.
  • Other users discuss how many cells they have. While the Zygarde trainer collected as many as 250 cells, some say they have closer to 10, 8 or 2 so far.
  • Other users are rather shocked at how much dust the trainer has collected – it’s in the nine-figure range.

How do you get more Zygarde cells? As things stand, the cells can only be accessed via routes. Especially in the early days, trainers had problems with routes simply ending before they could collect the cells when they appeared.

But then a trick quickly made the rounds so that no more cells were missed.

How do you feel about Zygarde? How many cells do you have together? Tell us in the comments!
