Hardly any other Netflix series is currently as eagerly awaited as it was in 1899. After all, this is the new project by Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese, which deals with the complex time loop enigma Dark one of the best series from the streaming giant produced. In a few weeks, a new dark journey full of sleep-depriving mysteries awaits us.
After the new poster just pushed us into the mystery abyss, Netflix now has it first long trailer for 1899 released. The search for clues as to what the omnipresent triangles mean and what the new mystery series is really about can now begin.

That’s what the Dark Team’s new mystery series is all about
In 1899, when large numbers of European people left their continent for a better life, this is sailing Passenger ship Kerberos full of migrants from London to New York. The travelers of different origins, however, fall into a dark mystery shortly after departure.
In the middle of the Atlantic, they encounter the seemingly abandoned sister ship named Prometheus, which has been missing for months. What really happened on the lost ship? And how are all the people connected aboard the Kerberos, all desperate to keep their darkest secrets?

If the 1899 creators have proven anything with Dark, it’s probably that much more puzzling in the series stuck than first appears and we should expect the most complex and impossible.
When is 1899 coming to Netflix?
1899 comes on November 17, 2022 to the streaming service. The first season consists of a total eight episodes. However, they will probably not provide answers to all mysteries. Because the master plan for the new mystery series provides for three seasons – as before with Dark.
The special thing about the Netflix series: the main characters all speak their different national languages - for example German, English, French, Spanish and Danish. In addition to the original version with subtitles, it will be also a dubbed version in German give.
