For the expansive title of the film, the film by exceptional director George Miller (Mad Max: Fury Road) begins almost modestly. It revolves around Alithea (Tilda Swinton), who has dedicated her life to myth and tale. By chance, she makes the acquaintance of a Djinn (Idris Elba), who told from its millennia-long existence. And in the end Alithea wants to grant a wish.
The film seems as baseless, colorful and megalomaniacal as fans of George Miller are used to. We were able to see the film at the Cannes Film Festival and consider it an absolute fantasy masterpiece. But fans should prepare well. You are in for a thrilling emotional roller coaster ride.
