Traffic in the Gilkison Street and Veteran’s Memorial Parkway area hs returned to normal following an early Friday morning incident, Brantford police say.
In a statement on X (formerly Twitter) police said there was a large police presence in the area as they attempted to locate a woman in crisis.

The woman has been located and is receiving assistance, police said.
No one was injured as a result of the incident, police said.
Police are thanking Brantford fire, Brant-Brantford paramedics for their support. They’re also thanking members of the public who called to provide information which proved helpful in locating the person in crisis.
