It was on national highway 40 that two passenger cars collided for unclear reasons. Shortly after 8 p.m., the rescue operation was still ongoing and the road was closed.
– We don’t really know what happened, but it is a very serious accident. Eight people are injured and several have been taken from the scene by ambulance, says the rescue service’s management operator.
