    “If the goal is to cancel the sanctions, then the negotiations with this US government will not mean that the sanctions are lifted,” Khamenei said at a meeting with students in Tehran.

    He also took the opportunity to warn the United States.

    – America threatens with military efforts, but in my opinion the threat is irrational. Iran is capable of responding with a revenge team – and so we will do, Khamenei said earlier on Wednesday.
