Trade partners criticize Trump’s import duties Brief news

The German Automotive Association VDA says the US import duties will bring “only losers”.

Several US trading partners have been criticized by the President Donald Trump Imports reported by Wednesday.

The German Automotive Association VDA commented on import duties in its statement, saying that the US administration will result in “only losers”. The United States is an important export market for the German automotive industry.

South Korean official president Han Duck-Soo was also concerned about the impact of customs on their country’s car exports in the United States. He ordered the country’s administration to take support for South Korean companies that are influenced by import duties.

The Brazilian Congress, for its part, approved the law that allows the country to respond to Trump’s customs.
