Markus Nenonen fills the gaps left by injuries in the TPS hockey SM league team.
Turku Palloseura, which started the ice hockey league season victoriously, was washed by an attacker Markus Nenonen with a two-month short-term contract. He represented HPK and Swedish Oskarshamn last season, but has been without a contract lately. Nenonen fills the gaps left by injured players in TPS.
– As a result of the negotiations, it became clear that he is ready to take on the challenge quickly, and he will immediately join the strength of the team, sports director Rauli Urama said on the TPS website.
Nenonen won the Finnish championship for HPK in 2019 and served as captain of the team from Hämeenlinna for a couple of seasons. He has also represented JYP, Sport and Tappara at the main league level.
Nenonen is excited about the opportunity he has received.
– When you’ve been there without a company and trained, it’s great to get involved in the team’s everyday life as well, the 31-year-old forward said.
