The toy store Lekia goes bankrupt

Now a toy store in the Gothenburg area has been affected. It is the company behind the toy store Lekia in Sisjön that has been filed for bankruptcy, which Gothenburg Post was the first to report on.

It is only the toy store in question that is affected, as it is owned by so-called franchisees.

All the toys in the store are currently being sold and about ten people will lose their jobs.

– The status right now is that we are in the process of selling off the stock that is out in the store. There are a lot of toys, which we initially have a 25 percent discount on. Then we evaluate according to how sales are going, but so far it has gone well, says Louise Ewerlöf at the Chord Center Väst to Gothenburg Post.
