WARMING STATIONS
Several town facilities are open for those looking for a safe, warm space during daytime hours:
- Pyramid Recreation Center (317 James St. S);
- St. Marys Public Library (15 Church St. N); and
- St. Marys Museum (177 Church St. S).
EMERGENCY ACCOMMODATION
The City of Stratford’s social services department is the provincially designated provider of short-term emergency accommodation for individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Perth County.
The town can connect individuals and families experiencing homelessness in St. Marys with the City of Stratford to arrange emergency accommodation.
Emergency accommodation services are completely voluntary, and individuals experiencing homelessness have the right to refuse them and may choose to do so, despite the cold temperatures.

COMMUNITY HOUSING CONSULTATION
The town is partnering with Stratford social services to offer a community housing consultation on Thursday, Feb. 15, at the Pyramid Recreation Center.
This free open-door event will give residents the opportunity to:
- Listen to a presentation from the City of Stratford’s housing and homelessness division about what is being done locally;
- Provide input on housing and homelessness in St. Marys;
- Participate in an interactive housing activity; and
- Learn about the types of support services available in St. Marys;
