Tove Lifvendahl wore the Star of David to mark against anti-Semitism

– We are in a time where many Jewish people cannot be open about their affiliation, so I wore the Star of David as support for that minority, says Tove Lifvendahl and says that she received it from her grandparents during a visit to Israel as a 15-year-old.

Another who wore the Star of David on Monday to mark against anti-Semitism was Nalin Baksi, a practicing Muslim and former top politician for the Social Democrats.

The terrorist organization Hamas’s attack on Israel on October 7 last year is the worst attack on Jews since the Holocaust. Then 1,200 people were killed, mainly civilians, according to Israel. It was the start of Israel’s war against Hamas.

41,000 people in Gaza have been killed so far, according to the Hamas-run Health Ministry in Gaza, which does not distinguish between civilians and combatants in the statistics. The figures have not been confirmed by independent sources.
