The heat wave in Greece has led to further deaths and disappearances. On Saturday, a Dutch tourist was found dead on the island of Samos. The tourist, a man in his 70s, did not return from his hike in the heat but was found dead in a ravine.

A week earlier, British TV doctor and diet guru Michael Mosley was found dead in an inaccessible area on the island of Symi. He too disappeared during a hike.

Greek rescue services are still searching for four people reported missing. Since last Friday, two French women have disappeared on the island of Sikonos and the day before an American man was reported missing on the island of Mathraki west of Corfu. That day the temperature was 45 degrees. Another man, an American, has gone missing on Amorgos, after he went on a hike in the heat.
