Indoor korfball, League 2:
Dalto – East Arnhem: 18 – 13
With the victory in the last game of the regular competition, Dalto from Driebergen-Zeist secured the lead in the Korfball League 2. The semi-finals will start next week with the top 4 of the final standings.
Dalto will play a best-of-three against TOP from Sassenheim on March 25, April 1 and possibly April 4. The other semi-final is between HKC (Hardinxveld-Giessendam) and DSC (Eindhoven). The winners of the semi-finals meet in the final for the title and direct promotion to the Korfball League.
Handball, men’s premier league:
The Dome/Wooden – Hellas: 34 – 23
Handbal Houten remains at the top of the Eredivisie with 39 points from 22 matches. The lead over number two Quintus, which drew against DFS Arnhem, has grown to three points.
Volleyball, women’s championship pool:
Booleans/VV Utrecht – Zwolle: 3 – 1 (29-27, 19-25, 25-21, 25-15)
Because of the victory, VV Utrecht is still the leader in the championship pool of the Eredivisie. The women have 15 points from 5 matches. Sneek (13 points) is second and Apollo 8 (12 points) third in the group.
Water polo, men’s premier league:
ZVL-1886 – UZSC: 11 – 10
De Ham – ZPC Amersfoort: 9 – 20
GZC DONK – De Linge/PCG: 21 – 3
UZSC remains fifth in the standings, but sees ZVL-1886 level with 31 points due to the defeat. The Utrecht team still has a game credit.
ZPC Amersfoort is ninth in the Eredivisie with 23 points from 19 games. The Leerdam De Linge/PCG is still winless and closing the gate.
Volleyball, losers group eredivisie men:
VoCASA – Taurus: 3 – 0 (25-23, 25-20, 25-14)
Taurus is fifth and last in the losers pool standings. After four games, the Houtenaren have 3 points. The difference with VCN, which is fourth, is only 1 point. Taurus has previously indicated that it will withdraw from the premier league for next season.
