Romain Bardet will have his turn on the 11th stage of the Tour de France.
Romain Bardet is on home soil for his very last participation in the Tour de France. And for the occasion, like Thibaut Pinot, the DSM rider is highly anticipated at the Col du Perthus with a turn totally dedicated to his cause. The association “Virage Dorien” has given itself the mission of replicating what was set up last year by the Collectif Ultras Pinot on the climb of the Petit Ballon. “With this turn, we are going to celebrate Romain Bardet’s entire career and just say thank you! We want him to remember it and for it to be one of the best moments of his career” explained Louis Besson, co-organizer of the event in comments quoted by Le Parisien.
“It’s going to be a great moment, we know how attached I am to these lands, even if I don’t really know what’s going on, I feel a surplus of encouragement and affection since what happened last weekend” explained the former second in the Tour de France.
