Tour de France 2023 – LIVE: Philipsen’s hat-trick! Classification

Tour de France 2023 LIVE Philipsens hat trick Classification

Stage 7 of the Tour de France was won by Jasper Philipsen in a bunch sprint through the streets of Bordeaux.

The essential

  • The 7th stage of the Tour de France between Mont de Marsan and Bordeaux was very calm with only one man in the lead in the first part of the race with Simon Guglielmi then two more in the second part with Nans Peters and Pierre Latour. Unfortunately for the French, the sprinters did not want to let the opportunity pass and it was Jasper Philipsen who prevailed.
  • In the general classification, the outgoing winner of the Tour de France Jonas Vingegaard is still the yellow jersey ahead of his rival Tadej Pogacarnew dolphin at 25 small seconds.
