Sebastian Samuelsson took a very impressive WC gold.
But now the season is completely over for the Swedish WC gold hero.
“That means the season is over for me,” writes “Sebbe” on Instagram.
The Biathlon World Cup in Oberhof was a great success for Swedish jumping Sebastian Samuelsson. After a weak season at the World Cup, the 25-year-old was in top form perfectly for the championship.

Samuelsson’s words
Thus, Samuelsson will not accompany the rest of the national team to Holmenkollen for the last three World Cup competitions.
“Still not fully healthy, so there will be no competitions for me in Oslo. It also means that the World Cup season is over for me. I bring with me a lot of experience and an absolutely fantastic WC from the past winter”, he writes himself on Instagram, see it below.

Sebastian Samuelsson was not involved in any decisive final battle at the World Cup and now instead has to recharge for next season. In social media, several people from the biathlon world have reached out to the Swede to support him.
“World champion! We will come back even stronger,” writes the national team coach John Luke in a comment.
“Hold on and enjoy the weeks off,” writes the competitor Benedikt Doll in a comment.
