Tottenham’s successful start continues – won the derby

Dejan Kulusevski got to play from the start for Tottenham just as usual. In the London derby against Crystal Palace, he took his place on the right in “Spurs” offensive trio behind striker Son Heung-Min.

But initially it was slow for the series leaders from north London. After the first half, the team did not have a single finish on goal and the score was 0–0.

Luck was all the better in the second half. Success new signing James Maddison thundered home a finish which was headed in by Palace full-back Joel Ward. Later, the lead was extended by Son Heung-Min after a rapturous Tottenham attack.

Jordan Ayew reduced in stoppage time, but Crystal Palace got no closer than that.

2–1 to Tottenham, who, with a game more played than the competition, extend their lead at the top of the table. “Spurs” have yet to lose a game this season and are now five points ahead of Manchester City.
