In the English women’s main league, i.e. the Super League, on Sunday we saw a Finnish encounter, when Eveliina Summanen and Olga Ahtinen Tottenham received as a guest Oona Siren West Ham.
West Ham got the lead Japanese striker Riko Ueki on goal, but Bethany England acknowledged the game’s levels. Tottenham then got the win in extra time, when West Ham’s topper Camila Saez scored an own goal. Summanen received a warning in the match and came on as a substitute in the 78th minute, while Ahtinen came on as a substitute in the 58th minute. Siren, who moved to West Ham this season, played the entire match.
West Ham is without a win after six matches and is in last place in the league, i.e. in 12th place. Tottenham have seven points from six games and are floundering in the middle stages of the series.
