Milla-Maj Majasaari played his first match in the WSL league.

Sunday saw the Finnish debut in the women’s English premier league in the WSL, when Crystal Palace’s goalkeeper Milla-Maj Majasaari got between the posts. Majasaari, 25, had previously accumulated games only in the league cup.

Palace’s opponent was Tottenham, whose captain Beth England took his team to a 2–0 lead with two header goals past Majasaari. Palace leveled, but a substitute By Olivia Holdt however, a great free kick in added time took the points to Tottenham.

From Tottenham’s Finns Olga Ahtinen came from the exchange to the field, Eveliina Summanen is sidelined due to injury.

Oona Siren played 77 minutes as his club West Ham defeated Everton 2–0.

of Leicester Jutta Rantala is still sidelined with a knee injury, but Leicester picked up their second win of the season on Sunday, beating Liverpool 2-1. Leicester is the last in the series, Crystal Palace is the last, i.e. in the relegation place.
