When Josselin Freytes every 20 years she boxed a lot and dreamed of becoming a professional boxer. But an injury put an end to those dreams. These days she holds boxing classes for exercisers.
— Today, 26 years later, I still see myself as that 20-year-old who SHOULD become a professional boxer. Sure, boxing is still there – but I can’t participate. I dream of fighting or training properly in the ring – at least being able to! I don’t do that now, says Josselin in Biggest Loser.
“Should feel like who she once was”
When the coach Pischa Strindstedt wants to use Josselin to show the boxing moves to the other participants in the program, she shines.
— Giving Josselin a pair of gloves – it’s like I’ve given her gold! I see that this is something she is missing in her life, she wants to get back to it. She identifies with these gloves and boxing as a form of training. My goal is for her to leave the castle feeling like the Josselin she once was!
