Turkish Automobile Sports Federation (TOSFED) since 2017, the “TOSFED Searching for its Star” competition has started for the year 2022.
The first group eliminations for the social responsibility project “TOSFED Searching for its Star”, organized by the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation with the contributions of FIAT since 2017 and aiming to bring new talents to automobile sports, have been completed. The 1st group qualifications, which took place at TOSFED Körfez Racetrack between 11-13 May, were held with 241 participants aged 28 and under with a driver’s license.
Doğa Tosun, Berkay Erdoğan, Berk Doğa Petek, Efe Arı, Emre Özcan Karademir, Berkay Akça and Barış Bülbül on the first day of qualifying, Metehan Bayram, İsfendiyar Mert Gür, İsa Berk Erkal, Mert Süleyman Tepe, Mehmet Yasin Özgül, Hasan Tayyip Güzey on the second day. , Kaan Akgöz, on the third day, Mustafa Pışıl, Yunus Kurt, Mustafa Önder Kurt, Ömer Boduroğlu, Zekeriya Emirhan Bektaş and Yunus Güzel qualified for the final qualifying rounds. As a result of the eliminations among women, Betül Gözde Öner, Buse Tınaztepe, Reyhan Aleyna Özen, Betül Pınar and Tuğba All qualified for the final.

Registration for the second group qualifiers for “TOSFED Searching for its Star”, which will be held between 30 August – 02 September, will end on 2 August. After the eliminations, the fastest 10 male and 4 female drivers, who will be determined at the end of the trainings and final eliminations, will have the opportunity to compete in the 2022 TOSFED Looking for Star series consisting of 3 races with Fiat Egea racing cars without paying any price.
