(Finance) – Tuscany Airports closes the first half of the year with a loss of 3.4 million euroseven if an improvement compared to the negative value of 13.3 million euros at 30 June 2021.
The period was characterized by a clear recovery of air traffic: 2.8 million passengers managed by the Tuscan Airport System, with strong growth (+ 593%) compared to the same period of 2021 but still down (-25.9%) compared to the pre-Covid volumes of 2019. A recovery trend confirmed also in July (+ 103.9%) and August (+ 66.2%).
Consequently i operating revenues rose to 41.4 million euro, an increase of 247.2% compared to the 11.9 million euro of the first half of 2021, which still suffered from difficulties in traffic and a low level of activity. EBITDA is positive for 4.5 million euros compared to the negative value of 8.3 million euros in the first half of 2021.
Net financial debt equal to 106.2 million euros compared to 98.7 million euros at 31 December 2021 and 107.5 million euros at 30 June 2021. Debt / Equity ratio (financial debt ratio) equal to 1.15.
