A tornado broke out in the central part of the Southeast Asian country of Myanmar. More than 200 homes were severely damaged by the tornado, which affected the villages of Lewe in the Naypyidaw Union District.
According to the police statement, 6 people lost their lives and 109 people were injured. It was reported that the condition of 16 of the injured was critical. Rescue operations are reportedly continuing.
