(Tiper Stock Exchange) – Turin Airport got the third level certification of the environmental sustainability project Airport Carbon Accreditationpromoted by ACI Europe with the aim of making airport structures more sustainable. The third certification is the result of involvement of institutions in the management of the structure in the process of reducing emissions: airlines, handlers, sub-licensees, passengers, employees, partners and territorial realities.
In recent years the Turin airport has reduced CO2 emissions by 34% and will continue in the Airport Carbon Accreditation program to acquire, in addition to those already recognized (mapping, reduction and optimization), three other levels of certification: neutrality, transformation and transition.
