Eight-year-old Tintin’s death has shaken Luleå. On Sunday afternoon, hundreds of people gather for a demonstration in Luleå for the boy who is suspected of having been murdered by his father. The case has attracted great attention and focus has been directed to the issue of strengthening children’s rights, a Lex Tintin.
It is private individuals who have taken the initiative for the demonstration, which includes, among other things, a torchlight procession.
– We will not give up until there is a change, says organizer Jonas Brännberg.
The boy was found dead in a home in Luleå on Sunday, January 8, after he had spent time with his father. He was found after his mother became worried and contacted the police, according to the prosecutor.
The father, who is 45 years old, is in custody on suspicion of murder. According to the coroner’s statement, Tintin was “probably killed by another person”.
