Torbjörn Nilsson, who has been part of MP’s party board since 2021, announced his candidacy via a debate article in VF on Wednesday.
“I have a broad commitment to various social issues, and a lot of knowledge in environmental issues, especially natural issues. I think it is a good basis for bringing the Green Party’s policy to the voters,” he says in a press release.
The 58-year-old, who lives in the Ulvsby district outside Karlstad, says in an interview with VF that he will not run a major campaign – but that he still sees the possibility of being elected as good.
– I have as good a chance as anyone else, he tells VF.
