As is the case every Monday, SELL has published the ranking of the best-selling video games in France. These are the results for Week 20, from May 20 to 26, 2024, and the first thing we can see is that Nintendo has returned to its usual place. Let’s say that Nintendo Switch games have experienced a meteoric resurgence, sweeping TopSin 2K25 and Stellar Blade from their pedestal. We imagine that the two titles are still in the 10 best sellers, but they have indeed disappeared from the visible Top5. Instead, we find Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and its incredible longevity in first place, Super Mario Wonder in second position, while Princess Peach Showtime falls to third place, although it was at the top of sales last week . For 4th and 5th place, it’s a certain EA Sports FC 24 which returns with a vengeance, both on PS5 and Nintendo Switch.
On PC, however, Minecraft Java & Medrock makes a steal by occupying first and second place thanks to its Deluxe edition. And in third place, it is also the football game from Electronic Arts which stands out.
