Topi Rönni is in Tappara’s lineup for Friday’s away game against Vaasan Sport.
Accused of rape Top Rönni is in the lineup on Friday when Tappara meets Sport in Vaasa. Rönni has been named as the center forward of Tampere Tappara’s four chain.
Rönni is in the lineup for the first time since the rape accusation was made public.
Rönni was sidelined from the team’s activities in mid-October, when the rape accusation was reported in the media. At the time, Rönni said in Tappara’s press release that he was a player accused of rape.
At the beginning of November, Tappara announced that Rönni would return to the team’s activities.

Rönni has also played in Finland’s junior national teams. The Calgary Flames have reserved him for the NHL in 2022 in the second round as the 59th player.
Rönni’s case will be heard by the Helsinki District Court in March.
