“Top Chef” is soon back on M6 for a 2025 season under the sign of the stars. The chain unveiled the date this week.
Stay calm, the flagship program of M6 will soon be on the air: Top chef is back in 2025 for a sixteenth edition which promises to be rich in surprises. This year, as we already knew, the culinary competition is associated with the prestigious Michelin guide to decide between candidates under the wise eye of gastronomic inspectors.
In addition to the jury again composed at the shock quartet Hélène Darroze, Philippe Etchebest, Glenn Viel and Paul Pairet, this time supported by Stéphanie le Quellec, the fourteen top chef’s candidates will therefore have to rub shoulders with the palaces of the famous guide. And it will not only be for the form since the program planned, in addition to the victory, to be able to eventually award a first star to the winning candidate, during a final with the tunes of Grand Oral in front of the Michelin inspectors.
Other surprises for Top Chef 2025
But season 16 of Top chef will bring other new features. Viewers will of course find the ingredients that have made the success of the program for years: breathtaking culinary challenges, a cast of talented and ambitious chefs, without forgetting the return of emblematic events such as the black box or the “which can beat”. They will also discover an unprecedented 24 -hour immersion in the kitchens of the Palace George V to slip into the shoes of a star chef.
But the biggest surprise in this 2025 edition, apart from the Michelin guide, undoubtedly concerns “the hidden brigade”. After Hélène Darroze then Pierre Gagnaire, these are two three -star chiefs who will this time resume the reins of this parallel competition, allowing to recover an eliminated candidate: the confirmed Éric Frechon, already seen several times in Top Chef, and the revelation Fabien Ferré, who became at 35 years old the youngest chef three stars in France. An unprecedented and prestigious duo.
And the date of the return of Top Chef is finally known since this week. To discover all these new features, go to Wednesday, March 26, in prime time, on M6. The start of season 16 of Top Chef will be given a chouilla later than last year. But M6 perhaps wanted to arouse a little waiting for this vintage announced as exceptional.
