The 20th day of the Top 14 allowed Stade Toulousain to retain its leading position thanks to its victory against Racing 92 after a completely crazy match and a host of tries on Sunday March 5. The Stadium now has an 11-point lead over La Rochelle while Racing is sinking in the standings, now in 8th place in the Top 14.
Thanks to its improved victory against Stade Français, the RCT is back in the race for the final phase by overtaking Racing and is now in 7th place. On the other hand, nothing is going well for Clermont, dryly beaten by the reigning French champion Montpellier which gives itself a little air in the classification.
