We now know the posters for the Top 14 semi-finals, here is the program.
Racing and Bordeaux-Bègles have validated their tickets for the top 14 semi-finals scheduled for Friday 8 and Saturday 9 June. In detail, Ciel et Blanc won (33-20) against Stade Français, while Bordeaux won at Lou (32-25). The second match delivered a breathtaking end to the match, leaving the Lyon players on the quay and in misunderstanding. “We’re still a bit in shock, I’m trying to understand how we lost this game. I can’t explain, I have to watch the game. We feel like we have the game in our hands, and in the last fifteen minutes, we cracked twice. It’s hard to explain. I don’t have all the answers. I don’t think it’s physical, we were there. UBB played well twice.” explained Dylan Cretin after the meeting
Note also that Perpignan, led next year by Frank Azéma, also saved their skin this weekend by beating Grenoble. Thirteenth in the regular phase with 43 points and despite ten victories in the top flight, the Catalans won this battle, 19-33.
