The Top 14 day offered surprising results for the big guys in the championship.
For the last day before the international break and the fall tour of the XV of France, the leaders stumbled. Sunday November 3, Stade Toulousain lost its teeth against Aviron Bayonnais after an unbreathable match and a try in the last minutes of the Basques signed Maqala, author of a double. In the standings, if Toulouse remains in the lead, Bayonne takes 4th place in the championship.
If there is no change at the top of the ranking, it is because Bordeaux did not take advantage of the presence of some of its internationals and lost to Clermont in the shock of the day 32-27 . Despite intense domination in the final minutes by Lyon, Toulon reassured itself by signing a precious success which allows them to remain at the top of the table. At the bottom of the standings, Stade Français lost again, as did Montpellier, beaten in the final moments by Castres.
