The other four, between 29 and 32 years old and living in the Oslo area, are said to have had other roles in the operation.
According to the indictment, the smuggling took place in February 2022, but long processing times have meant that the trial is expected to begin in Østre Innlandet district court only in March next year.
There have been several similar cases in Innlandet in recent years, says Attorney General Jo Christian Jordet to TV2, referring to the Norwegian county that borders Dalarna, Jämtland and Värmland.
In July, two men were sentenced for having smuggled 95 kilos of hashish into another border municipality – also that time with a sled – within the framework of the same case.
