Since she was little, Nicole Kidman’s large size has been a source of ridicule. “I was made fun of and called “the big rod.” People were saying to me, “What’s the air like up there?” remembers the 56-year-old star before adding “People still make these kinds of remarks to me. People say to me: “Oh my God, you are so much bigger than I thought!“. Worse still, at the start of her career, some wanted to discourage her from pursuing her dream. “I was told: “You won’t have a career. You’re too big““, she reveals. Critics who pushed Nicole Kidman to lie about her size: “I say I’m 1.78m tall, but I’m actually 1.80m tall“. Even if the actress is not always comfortable in her own skin, she had to learn to take advantage of your physique. “It bothers me in the sense that, when I play, I would like to be small, like this or like that… but there are moments when I enjoy [ma grande taille]because when it has a link with my work, I tell myself that I can use it” she admits.

Dressed in a simple T-shirt, she revealed ultra-thin legs and that was all it took to be deemed too thin. Many Internet users then indulged in a few derogatory comments about her figure.
