Tony Irving is raging after cheating accusations in Lets Dance

In a post on Facebook Going Tony Irving to attack without mentioning any names:

“There is nothing I despise more than bad losers,” he writes.

According to Aftonbladets Information, some competitors must have disseminated a link where relatives and friends have been able to book more tickets than the production allows. Since it is the studio audience who vote for who goes on in the qualifying programs, this must have given an unfair advantage.

In the middle of the recordings in February, TV4 became aware that some couples had more relatives in the audience than allowed and should then have called for a crisis meeting, according to the newspaper’s sources.

Tony Irving denies that such a meeting has taken place:

– I hung out in the studio all week and chaired the jury. And I don’t know of any crisis meeting, he says in an interview in Express.

TV4’s executive producer Clara Tengbom also dismisses the charges.

Tony Irving believes that the excluded participants should focus on their own performance instead of blaming cheating.

“Let me explain something very simple: every guest in the audience is booked with age, contact information and relationship with a participant. No one can smuggle in a whole army to vote. So stop spreading bullshit!”, Irving continues in the post on Facebook.
