Tony Ingesson, assistant university lecturer in intelligence analysis at Lund University, explains what may be behind the arrest, why helicopters were involved and why we are seeing increased activity in the espionage business right now.

– There may be an increased intensity of intelligence activity throughout Europe, due to Ukraine and the sabotage against Nordstream. It could also be increased vigilance from security services and counterintelligence, he says.
