So Ton has been working at the shipyard almost all his life. And then he had to retire. “I was sitting on the couch at home, but that didn’t go well. That’s fun for a day, but this work keeps tickling me. It’s all manual labor. And I’ve been working here all my life. You can’t just let that happen. loose when you are retired. A ship is so diverse, just the interior, the engine room. There is sometimes a hundred meters of pipework and to keep that running smoothly is of course very special.”
