Tommy Körberg cancels his summer tour due to illness.
He is currently hospitalized, he announces in a press release.
“Unfortunately, it will not be possible for me to complete the tour,” says the popular artist.
Tommy Körberg is hospitalized due to illness, and now announces in a press release that he will have to cancel his summer tour “Grand Finale”.
“It pains me immensely to have to cancel my summer tour “Grand Finale” and disappoint my audience. Unfortunately it will not be possible for me to complete the tour as I have recovered a malignant bacteria which this time settled on my back and is causing acute back pain. I am now hospitalized for investigation and treatment,” he says in the press release.
Just a few days before Tommy Körberg turned 75 in July, he guested on Nyhetsmorgon and talked, among other things, about the voice problems he suffered after his heart operation – which he managed to sing away. He then pointed out that he wanted to stay healthy going forward.
– Now I hope I don’t get sick again, that’s enough, he said then.
Received the prestigious award at the end of June
At the end of June, Tommy Körberg visited Lotta in Liseberg, where he received the prestigious Liseberg applause award. Every year, the award is given to someone who has made Sweden a little happier, and this time it was Tommy Körberg’s turn.
It was an honored Tommy who accepted the award, even though he had little idea that the award existed.
– Honestly, I didn’t even know you had one – I’m from Stockholm, you understand.
