Tomi Lämsä, who has coached at KHL for the last five seasons, will move to Young Lions.

Tomi Lämsä is the next head coach of the Young Lions, says the Hockey Association. The Lämsä contract will run for two seasons and will expire in spring 2024.
In August, he will still be responsible for coaching at the World Youth Championships Antti Pennanenwho has coached the team for the last two seasons.
– I am really looking forward to working on top Finnish hockey and, of course, international hockey. This is a significant role in Finnish hockey and a responsible task, which I humbly accept, Lämsä comments in the press release.
During the past season, Lämsä coached the KHL club Salavat Yulayev Ufa. He first worked in the club for three seasons as an assistant coach, the last two seasons as a head coach.
In Finland, Lämsä has coached Pelicans and Jokers in the Finnish Championships.
