Tomb Raider’s popular spin-off game Lara Croft and The Guardian of Light comes to iOS and Android platforms after 15 years.
Tomb Raider While fans are waiting for a new adventure of Lara Croft, the spin-off game Lara Croft and The Guardian of Light, which is different from the classic structure of the series, is moving to mobile platforms. Feral Interactive announced on February 27 on iOS and Android devices. For the first time in 2010 on the Xbox Live and PSN platforms, the game attracted attention with its fixed camera angle and CO-op gameplay. This production, which does not use the name of Tomb Raider, is about Lara’s struggle against the Bad Ruh Xolotl with the ancient Mayan fighter Totec.
A different experience from the classic Tomb Raider
Unlike the traditional gameplay of the Tomb Raider series, Lara Croft and The Guardian of Light has a fixed camera -angle structure and a team -based gameplay. The game blends Lara Croft’s world full of action and puzzles with Maya mythology. This mobile adaptation carries the game to a different platform after Lara Croft Collection, previously released for Nintendo Switch in 2023.
In addition to the mobile game, the Tomb Raider universe continues to expand with different projects. In Prime Video, a Tomb Raider Live-Action series is being developed, starring Game of Thrones Star Sophie Turner can be included. However, Netflix’s animation series Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft received approval for the second season. Amazon’s next main Tomb Raider game will not be linked to the Live-Action series.
For console players, the modern versions of old Tomb Raider games are on the way. Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered collection will come to Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and PC platforms on February 14th. This collection includes Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation, Tomb Raider: Chronicles and Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness.
The Tomb Raider universe continues to offer a rich content on different platforms with its mobile games, series and reorganized classic games. Lara Croft and The Guardian of Light, which will be released on February 27, will make a significant contribution to this diversity.
